A social justice resource
Beacon Fellowship has videos and an annual GLBT faith community guide

Columbus-Beacon Fellowship is an interfaith ministry that promotes diversity and works for social justice in Ohio and Kentucky through education and advocacy. Beacon offers a wide range of social justice resources and educational materials, as well as offering video presentations about social justice, publishing e-mail newsletters, plus organizing community events such as discussion forums and resource fairs.
Beacon also partners with churches and community groups to hold social justice programs, events, and discussions. It has an affiliate ministry located in Dayton and last year began an expansion of its interfaith ministry into Kentucky.
The Beacon Fellowship also publishes the annual "GLBT Faith Communities Resource Guide," which features information about churches, religious groups, and interfaith groups throughout Ohio that are inclusive and affirming of GLBT people. Copies of the 2008 Guide are still available. Contact Beacon to order them. Information about the 2009 edition. will be available soon.
Beacon's video presentations focus on issues ranging from GLBT to racism and discrimination. Each presentation features a speaker or presenter, video screening, discussion questions, plus materials related to the presentation. Contact Beacon for more info about video presentations.
